Official Competition details:
This official tournament will host up to 18 contestants.
The first rounds will have a list of 20 songs that seated viewers will vote on. Performers will then sing the song chosen by the crowd. Performers will get the song’s lyric text played to them through a monitor on stage.
This will be the fast paced knock out portion of the event. Performers who do not complete the song will be disqualified. Performers must attempt to sing and complete whatever song is voted on by the crowd. Just completing the song can be the difference between dropping out or moving forward to the next round.
After the first round Contestants will line up and the crowd will cheer for the participants they like most. The host on stage will make the judgment call on who the crowd has chosen.
The second round will have 9 contestants. These Contestants will have to choose one song to perform from our next list of 20 songs.
